Texas, Southern states coated with snow, sleet and freezing rain

There was really bad storms in the south and they had even in the Dallas area there was a winter storm warning Friday. The temperatures were even in the low 20s, and they had got up to 6 inches of snow in some places. There was so much ice in some spots that people could ice skate in the roads. There was also about 300 canceled flights at the Dallas airport. The storm hit the area as a previous storm system swirled out of the country after blanketing 30 states. From the center of the nation through the Northeast. There was a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain producing record-breaking accumulations in several Midwest locales.
