A Girl’s Nude Photo, and Altered Lives

A girl after having a hard time at home sent a picture of herself naked to her boyfriend and soon after broke up. He then fowarded the picture to a girl that forwarded it to a ton of other people. parents are trying to use this as a lesson to show kids why they should not sext.

It was interesting to see grown men doing there yoga workouts or whatever it was that they called it. But because it was a weird and uncommon thing for us too see it was interesting to watch. The camera tech. where good and they had good angles with good lighting throughout the whole video.

Man and a goose form unlikely friendship

In Echo Park near downtown Los Angeles, the geese that live there begin their daily routines. Some swim, some walk and peck for food. Basically same stuff that geese do everywhere. But there is one goose there with routine all to there own. Every morning, its priority is to stand by the side of the road and patiently wait for her mate to return on his scooter. The old man comes down to the park every day to see the bird.

A-ROLL Many kids have come to wonder why teachers are so strict on why there is to be no texting in classes. Is it so others around the texter are not getting distracted or so that the texter is not distracted from their schooling? Trevor: As long as it is not effecting the learning environment then there is no reason that kids should be able to text. Students do not see why if it doesn’t affect people around them then what is the problem with texting in school. The opinion of some parents was surprising as it was different from teachers.  Michelle: I as a parent do not care if my children text in school. If they are getting their work done and have good grades then what does it matter? Kids should be allowed to text in school as long as they are at a good standing grade in their classes. Mrs. Thompson: I think that it is rude to both us the teachers and also to other kids around. Thus making a easy solution to it all and just not allowing kids to text in the classroom. Is texting something that will continue to not be allowed in the classroom or with more students texting in class will this be a rule that will soon no longer be enforced? Man allegedly karate chops air marshal

Airline passengers got to see the a fight on a recent flight that ended with a man being subdued by air marshals. The incident happened on a Delta Air Lines plane on route from Paris to Atlanta last Thursday, according to a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court of Georgia. A woman said she was asleep when the passenger seated behind her, who was Brian Louis Pomykala, woke her up by "forcibly fondling and grabbing her face and head and then gesturing toward his crotch area indicating that he needed some sex," according to the complaint. When the air marshals came over he karate chopped one of them in the throat but he was then taken down by the other air marshals.

Gates: U.S. should stay in Afghanistan past 2014

U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Monday that both the U.S. and Afghan governments agree the American military should remain involved in Afghanistan after the planned 2014 end of combat operations to help train and advise Afghan forces. Gates said the United States has no interest is setting up permanent military bases in Afghanistan and is in Afghanistan for talks with President Hamid Karzai and a look at battlefields where his commanders say the U.S. and NATO are gaining the edge against the Taliban.

Last week in the during some protest against Wisconsin’s new union-busting governor, Scott Walker demonstrations that continued through the weekend with huge crowds on Saturday. Representative Paul Ryan made an comparison by mistake saying “It’s like Cairo has moved to Madison.” Which was not a good thing to compair to with all the stuff going in Egypt and so compair that to the Wisconsin people. I dont think that someone at that level in the gov't should be compairing the people to that. Its shocking that the people that are suppose to vote just fled the states. They should just do the vote without them.

Connecticut AG Asks Facebook to Detail Fraud Response.

Connecticut Attorney General George Jepsen is asking Facebook about how it detects and disables fraudulent accounts, after a state legislator said her identity was misused in a scam to solicit her friends for money. Jepsen asked Facebook for information about the number of complaints it had received in the last 18 months about fraudulent or hacked accounts, policies for responding to such complaints and how long it took the company to do so. The company’s policy on such situations includes developing “complex technical systems to flag and block suspicious behavior, including the creation of phony accounts,” as well as “providing easy reporting channels for people to let us know when something is wrong, and educating people on how to protect themselves,” a spokesman said in an e-mailed statement.

President targets $350M for Great Lakes cleanup

President Barack Obama's 2012 budget called for around $350 million to clean up the Great Lakes. The proposal released Monday was a cut from the $475 million that Obama proposed orginally decided on but that amount has no changed. But it's an increase from the $300 million that Obama wanted for 2011, although it's uncertain whether that money will go threw because Congress has not yet approved the budget for the current year. During his campaign in 2008, Obama pledged $5 billion over a decade for the program, which would battle invasive species, step up removal of toxic sediments, restore wildlife habitat and take other steps to fix longstanding environmental problems in the Great Lakes.

Ultimate Electronics stores to be liquidated

Ultimate Electronics who is based out of Colorado that sells home electronics had filed for bankruptcy last month. They have now started liquidating its 46 locations nationwide, including six in the Twin Cities.
Stores are expected to remain open until stock becomes too thin, when they will then ship remaining merchandise to another location. The retailer is attempting to sell its merchandise immediately, so the value of its electronic products does not decrease. In Minnesota, besides the Minnetonka store. Ultimate Electronics has stores in Edina, Woodbury, Maple Grove, Burnsville and Roseville. According to the Minnetonka worker, who asked not to be named because workers were told not to talk the media, each store typically employs 17 to 20 people so closing the six locations in Minnesota could mean a loss of up to 120 jobs.

Government: No Electronic Flaws in Toyotas

A government investigation of the Toyota safety problems had found no electronic flaws to accountfor reports of sudden acceleration. Transportation officials and engineers with NASA say two mechanical safety defects from beforethat where identified by the government which where the sticking accelerator pedals and gas pedals that can become trapped in floor mats are the only known causes for the reports of runaway Toyotas. Both issues were the subject of large recalls by Toyota. So far Toyota has recalled more than 12 million vehicles around the world since fall 2009 for a series of safety issues.

There was really bad storms in the south and they had even in the Dallas area there was a winter storm warning Friday. The temperatures were even in the low 20s, and they had got up to 6 inches of snow in some places. There was so much ice in some spots that people could ice skate in the roads. There was also about 300 canceled flights at the Dallas airport. The storm hit the area as a previous storm system swirled out of the country after blanketing 30 states. From the center of the nation through the Northeast. There was a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain producing record-breaking accumulations in several Midwest locales.

Gunfire, clashes erupt as night falls in Cairo

Thursday night just around dusk there was gunfire in Cairo from gangs that supported President Hosni Mubarak. They where attacking reporters, foreigners, and human rights workers and the army rounded up foreign journalists. There was also gun fire in Tahrir Square where more of the presidents supporters had been fighting for more than 24 hours and so far at least 13 people have been killed since Wednesday. It was also released that Vice President Omar Suleiman promised that Mubarak's son Gamal would not be seeking to follow his father's footsteps in presidential elections in September. During all this the country has had at least $1 billion lost in tourism in the last nine days and has had at least 1 million tourists leave during this time.
